How To Register

or Change your address

Mississippi State Law requires registration 30 days in advance

of any election. 

If you move within the county,

please fill out a new form and submit to the Clerks office.  

You can come into our office or mail us a form to get registered.

You can also register through the DMV but it's not 100%.  

The information is transferred to our Statewide Voter System.  If you do not receive a registration card within 30 days, please contact our office for verification.

If you move out of the county, please notify the clerks office so you can be removed from the voter rolls.

How to Absentee Vote

By law, the Circuit Clerk's office is open for absentee voting 45 days before every election.

Come to the clerk's office Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.

The office is also required to be

open 2 Saturdays before every election day from 8am - noon.

Military

Out of the County

Out of the Country

Understanding Your 

Voter Registration Card

You only need your Photo ID to vote. 

 

The voter registration card is to inform you of your polling locations and districts you are located.

Districts

SEN = MS Senate

REP = MS House of Rep

CON = U.S. Congressional

SUPR = Supervisor

JCJ = Justice Court

CON = Constable 

WARD = City Ward

SCHB = School Board
